This site makes demanding use of both your internet connection speed and your CPU speed. You must have a Java enabled browser to view the images and run the calculators. You must have gif animation also enabled to view the evolution of the differential invariants V and W. Manipulation of the images is computationally intensive and should not be attempted on a CPU running below 1 GHz. Faster CPU = smoother rendering. The speed of the calculations does not depend on your CPU as the calculations are run remotely. Maple and Mathematica vrml output has been translated into LiveGraphics3D input. CONTROL key plus vertical dragging changes focal length. CONTROL key plus horizontal dragging changes stereo effect. ALT key plus right mouse button plus vertical dragging strips part of the plot. "s" key toggles between single and stereo picture. Hit 'Home' to reset the plot.

If you do not have support for JDK on your browser you cannot run the calculators. If you have GRTensor and Maple installed on your machine you can run a number of examples locally.
